Here are some ideas for StoryWings Library groups and themes:

Each StoryWings Library that you establish is private and can only be accessed by anyone you invite to participate and all of the content submitted belongs to you. As the owner ("Librarian"), you determine the theme of your library.

As outlined below, the subscription fees are kept very low so that you can establish different libraries relevant to different circles of friends, family, peers, and more. 

You may invite up to 75 people to participate in a single library ("Guests" are free) and it a person may be a guest in multiple libraries. 

Here are the ROLES people can have in your StoryWings Library:

  • LIBRARIAN: That's you! As owner of the library you are not only the person who pays for the subscription, but you also determine the theme and approve or disapprove submissions and you own all of the content submitted (according to the StoryWings Terms of Use). You also control who your Assistant Librarian and Guests will be.

  • ASSISTANT LIBRARIAN: StoryWings is a long-term archive and assigning an Assistant Librarian is strongly recommended so that your library can continue even if you are unable to maintain it yourself. Like you, the person you designate as your assistant will have the ability to screen and approve new contributions or to remove existing contributions. They can also access and send the unique code generated to invite guests to your library or to determine a new Librarian if you are longer function in that role.  

  • GUESTS: Each library may have up to 75 members so you may invite up to 73 guests into a library. This is designed to help keep contributions relevant to your guests.

    (Anyone to whom you provide the unique link may register with your StoryWings library for free.

    Individuals may join multiple libraries and must join each library separately by following the unique link provided by each Librarian. At that time they may listen to any approved contributions in a library, or they may record and submit new contributions. 

    A single recording may be contributed to multiple libraries as long as the contributor is an owner or a guest of those libraries (i.e., A grandmother can record a story once and opt to share it with some or all of the libraries owned by her adult children).

The following pricing model is designed for the long-term success of your library. StoryWings is the platform upon which you may easily record and archive your recordings and ensure they can be shared across space and time.

We encourage you to select the Gold pricing option, even though we receive less revenue over time, because it is clearly the best value for you! And the longer you use your libraries, the more valuable and successful they will become.

During your subscription, our technology, website and team will provide ideas to help you keep the excitement alive and the contributions coming. StoryWings publishes brief, quarterly newsletters that highlight how subscribers are enjoying their libraries. Please consider adding your story to the StoryWings blog.
