Our mission is to create a private, recording and archiving platform where only you and your invited guests can capture and share important stories. There are no social sharing buttons within StoryWings and the content is owned by the people who contribute it to a library. They are lending it to others to enjoy within your StoryWings library. It may not be shared beyond the library without the contributors permission.

THE LIBRARY IS YOURS! Unlike our leading competitor which provides a "free" platform to share stories, but they FOREVER OWN YOUR STORIES and can forever makes them accessible throughout the world. It's not so free when they gain the value of your stories to use as they wish to make money. It also prohibits what people are likely to share.

StoryWings is not free but we are very transparent. The subscription fee you pay each year supports the storage, processing, and administration of the technology. You will not see ads and the content belongs to you and your guests.

What you see is what you get with StoryWings. We are very transparent and our  model is simple. We charge a subscription fee to pay for the storage, processing, and administration of the technology. There is no need to look elsewhere for revenue. We own a platform. YOU own the library and the people who contribute the content own that content. It never goes beyond your StoryWings library unless you or a guest share it elsewhere. 

  • NOBODY IS ANALYZING YOU!
  • THERE IS NO ADVERTISING!
  • YOUR CONTENT IS NEVER SHARED OR SOLD!

The "Librarian" (account owner) sets the theme and invites guests to participate. The subscription fee you pay provides PRIVATE and EXCLUSIVE recording, processing, and storage services.*

  • YOU ARE IN CHARGE! As Librarian, you determine the theme of your library, who can participate, and what gets posted for your up to 50 guests to access.

    ​You may invite family and friends to participate at no charge to them. They will be able to record and submit contributions as well as listen to approved content. ​
 
  • IT IS QUICK AND EASY! Stories are recorded right in your library. Each can be up to 10 minutes long (but we find that the average recording packs a lot of love and value in less than 5 minutes). We keep it simple...no editing is allowed...we encourage natural speech...mistakes and all.
 
  • YOUR LIBRARY IS PRIVATE! The StoryWings Team does have access to content for administrative and support purposes but we do not monitor or access content unless compelled to do so because of a guest complaint or a law enforcement process.

  • ANNUAL SUBSCRIPTIONS ARE LOW so that you can establish multiple audio libraries, each relevant to your different social and professional circles. (Perhaps one for immediate family and another for your book group or classroom...)
